Our preschoolers dove into a colorful celebration for National Play-Doh Day. They explored science by mixing colors, experimenting with textures, and observing how Play-Doh changes when shaped or combined all while exploring concepts of cause and effect. Children practiced math by counting pieces, creating patterns, comparing sizes, and building shapes, turning simple play into hands-on problem solving. And through all the squishing, rolling, and molding, children strengthened fine motor skills essential for writing, cutting, and self-help tasks. Play-Doh makes learning hands-on, creative, and full of discovery!
