For our curriculum, we discuss who community helpers are and what they do. We have been celebrating community helpers by talking to them in our classrooms! We had a lawyer and police officer tell us about their jobs and how they keep us safe. We listened to a personal trainer who taught us ways to keep our bodies healthy and how to grow strong. We discussed how to care for our pets during our vet tech visit! A storyteller visited us and we helped them create stories about robots, pigs, and more! Lastly, we had an engineer who showed us their bright yellow vest, hard hat, and pictures of different structures they helped build around our neighborhoods. Thank you to all our community helpers!
