February is Community Helpers month that we are incorporating into the curriculum, here are two visitors we had last week.
Chef: The children made strawberry shortcake with Chef Philip. They baked biscuits and made whipped cream from scratch!
Dentist: The children enjoyed a visit with a dental representative. She showed us how to brush our teeth and taught us why we shouldn’t eat sweets. We learned a very important word, cavities. The children were also given a toothbrush to take home. Big Thanks to Long Beach Family Dentist located at 2211 E. 7th St. for sharing.
